First trip of 2012

We finally got to go fishing a couple days ago. Man it felt good to be back out on that ocean. It was a beautiful calm fairly warm morning for February. Paul had us chartered today for his son's birthday that just happens to be a couple days after mine in January. We caught a few yellowfins in the morning before a change with some current pushed across where we were fishing. I had seen the tunas jumping and rolling a couple of times in the early morning but that change just shut them off. Some of the guys went chasing blue fins and caught a few but it wasn't good enough to run 30 miles to it. We also caught a nice gaffer that afternoon. There are alot of tunas around right now along with a few wahoo as well. Come on down and see us before it gets crowded. This is a great time of the year to be here fishing. The cottage is all ready to go for a place to stay. Give me a call.
